Berkeley Care is like no other. We offer a continuum of care to support your independence, help you through rough patches and be there whenever you need us, with respect and consideration. Our levels of Berkeley Care™ – Independent, Assisted and Alzheimer’s – are designed to provide you with exactly enough assistance to live your life on your own terms. Our Berkeley Care services are available throughout our communities, so there’s no need to move as your needs evolve.
Independent Berkeley Care: this is gracious, independent retirement living. Move in and live without care; meals are provided, transportation is available if you need it, recreational and social networks are built around you and laundry service is available, as well as an on-site beauty parlour – all at your convenience.
Independent Berkeley Care is like living at an all-inclusive resort, where your every need is answered, and you don’t have to shovel your own walk or bother with multiple bills. In case of sudden illness, 24-hour health care staff are available. And, because accidents can happen, an in-suite emergency response system can get you help when you need it.
Assisted Berkeley Care: Assisted Living at its finest and most flexible. As your needs change, Berkeley Care changes to suit you. We can arrange for personal care workers through The Berkeley or offer guidance in coordinating care. Assistance is available for any amount of support; from occasional illnesses to daily care like help with bathing and dressing. We can remind you about medications and help you take them. You decide how much support you need and Assisted Berkeley Care delivers; whether you need us every few days or every day, with light support or more intense care. We care for you, as well as about you, so you can continue to live in comfort at home with us.
Lavender Walk Berkeley Care: this is a very special kind of Berkeley Care, for residents with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. This is the ultimate in care and our dedicated and experienced staff can help whole families with the difficult transitions and life changes that can occur.

You can take a break and check into The Berkeley for a whole winter, a few weeks or simply a weekend. Respite Care guests enjoy all of the comforts and conveniences of worry-free Berkeley living.
