Additional Lifestyle Support and Care

​While The Berkeley does not offer traditional assisted living, where care is included in the rent, we are able to add support when needed. Most residents move in needing only the support of a chore-free lifestyle. Over time, as needs change, additional services can be arranged to help residents continue to enjoy supported independent living. These services may include lifestyle supports such as personal laundry, additional housekeeping, or a third daily meal, as well as care-related services such as medication administration, foot care, injections, assistance with compression stockings, and personal care.

For an additional charge, services can be customized on a temporary or longer-term basis. Personal care may be arranged to assist during an occasional illness or to provide hourly support with bathing, dressing, companionship, and other individual needs.
